Kore Yamazaki, the mangaka behind The Ancient Magus’ Bride, has a lot going on right now. For starters, The Ancient Magus’ Bride is receiving a new anime project, debuting in September. The first step of the new project will be the original anime DVD Mahō Tsukai no Yome: Nishi no Shōnen to Seiran no Kishi ( translated as The Ancient Magus’ Bride: The Boy From the West and the Knight of the Mountain Haze).
It will consist of three episodes, but we’re teased that this is just the “first part” of what’s to come. Yamazaki will be writing the original story for the OAD.

In addition to that, Yamazaki will be debuting a new manga series later this year. Right now it’s titled Ghost and Witch, though that could change. Like the OAD, it’s slated to debut in September. A synopsis has not been given, but this tagline was released: “You are nothing more than an object. Now follow your orders like a dog and get to work.”
