Tatsuki may be off Kemono Friends, but production house Yaoyoruzu has another project on the way for the director. Kemurikusa is an original sci-fi TV anime based on a short anime film from 2012, and the main cast members have been revealed.

Leading the cast are Mikako Komatsu as Rin, Arisa Kiyoto as Ritsu, and Tomomi Jiena Sumi as Risa.

Kemurikusa follows its lead girls as they battle creatures known as Mushi in a red-fog-enshrouded world. It kicks off on BS Fuji in Japan in January 2019, with Amazon Prime streaming to follow.
