There’s no better way to be introduced to an RPG than with anime, and that’s exactly what Bandai Namco has done with its latest Tales of Arise promo. The popular entry is the 25th anniversary title for the long-running Tales of series, and the official accounts want folks to discover or rediscover it with the help of some stunning animation by Fate and Demon Slayer studio ufotable.

Tale of Arise is currently available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. It launched globally back on September 10, 2021. Here’s how Bandai Namco describes it:
Tales of ARISE follows the story of Alphen, an iron-masked individual whose home planet of Dahna has been enslaved and stripped of natural resources for the past 300 years by the nearby planet of Rena. As Alphen fights to free his people he encounters Shionne, a girl from Rena who is on the run from her countrymen. Both Alphen and Shionne will be joined throughout journey by a supporting cast of characters to help in their fight for freedom.
