The latest slice of ARIA anime—ARIA The CREPUSCOLO—is coming to theaters in Japan on March 5, making now as good a time as any to take a look back at the series. The anime adaptation of Kozue Amano’s slice-of-life fantasy manga is doing just that with a special promotional video, which runs through its history with the help of voice over by VA Sayaka Ohara as Alicia Florence.
Ohara commented on the PV on Twitter, saying “During the recording of this narration, the studio was again filled with the music of ARIA just like the past recording sessions. It was as if time had rewound.” You can rewind time yourself in the video below.
The first three TV anime series—ARIA The ANIMATION, ARIA The NATURAL, and ARIA The ORIGINATION—aired back in 2005, 2006, and 2008, respectively. A three-episode ARIA The AVVENIRE OVA followed from 2015 to 2016 to mark the series’ 10th anniversary, and now ARIA The CREPUSCOLO is looking to mark the 15th anniversary.
