What with the whole pandemic thing going on, Super Nintendo World has had a rough go of its attempted opening in Japan, and the most recent State of Emergency isn’t helping. It seems delays are being handed out all around with this project, because the Super Nintendo World attraction planned for Orlando, Florida has pushed its opening back to 2025.
The Orlando version of the Universal Studios park was previously eyeing a 2023 opening, but the COVID-19 pandemic caused an indefinite delay. Now, while work has resumed, there have been some major setbacks that coincide with the development work on Epic Universe Orlando. Thus, park-goers will have to wait until 2025 for both that and Super Nintendo World.
While we have a long wait ahead of us, we’ll just be sitting here taking the online virtual tour of the Japanese Super Nintendo World park for the next few years…
