Super Nintendo World Orlando Shares Video of Coming Attractions

Super Nintendo World at Universal Studios Orlando is scheduled to open next year, and ahead of this new information and visuals have been released. Super Nintendo World is part of the Epic Universe expansion, which also has segments for The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic, Celestial Park, How To Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk, and Dark Universe.

You’ll be able to enter Super Nintendo World through the iconic Green Pipe. Once inside you’ll be treated to attractions like Peach’s Castle, Bowser’s Castle, and Mt. Beanpole. There will be actual Piranha Plants and Goombas hanging around, and like with the games, you can get spinning coins and ? Blocks.

Rides include Mario Kart: Bowser’s Challenge for racing fans, Yoshi’s Adventure for fans of all ages, and Mine-Cart Madness, which is supposed to “send riders on a thrilling adventure where they will experience the jaw dropping maneuvers that they’ve seen Donkey Kong and the mine carts perform in the video games.” Mine-Cart Madness is part of Donkey Kong Country, a subsection of Super Nintendo World that’s described as “lush, tropical landscape from the video game series, complete with tall trees, waterfalls and landmarks such as The Golden Temple.”

Some of these attractions can also be found at Universal Studios Hollywood’s Super Nintendo World, which started operating in 2023. However, it’s not just a copy and paste, as some things, like Yoshi’s Adventure, are at Orlando but not Hollywood.

All of this information comes shortly after the announcement that Donkey Kong Land at Super Nintendo World Japan has had its opening bumped back. Hopefully things will go more smoothly for Super Nintendo World in Florida. Meanwhile, here’s a video to give you an idea of what you can expect when the expansion park officially opens!
