Bandai previously released a replica of Tanjiro Kamado’s sword. Now they’re back with a replica of Kyojuro Rengoku’s blade. Like the previous sword, it plays music and voice recordings.
“The unique flame pattern on the blade reflects the official design,” explains the video in English subtitles. “From the top, partial layers of pearl coating are applied to achieve the bright blade look as seen in the animation. The kanji for ‘Destroyer of Demons’ are realistically molded onto the blade, lending it the look of an actual engraving. The distinct guard on Rengoku’s nichiren sword is realistically recreated with the same coloring and roughness, overseen by show officials.
Pre-orders start January 15 (which it already is in Japan), and they become available later this year.
