If you’re wondering when you’ll be able to go fast again, Paramount Pictures is here with the answer. According to a report on Variety, Paramount has Sonic the Hedgehog 2 set for an April 8, 2022 date with theaters.
Naturally, this is subject to change, which should come as no surprise considering how fluid theatrical dates have had to be in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Sonic the Hedgehog sequel was originally announced near the end of May, which is when Paramount and Sega Sammy confirmed that development had started. Jeff Fowler is back in the director’s chair for this one, with Pat Casey and Josh Miller once again handling the script.
