Sengoku Basara Demo Wages War on PSN

The latest in Capcom’s mass hack-and-slash series—which began in 2005 on Playstation 2 with Devil Kings and is in its second season of anime adaptation—is finally making its way to North America next month.

Sengoku Basara: Samurai Heroes will offer more than 15 playable characters in its final retail release, but you can check out two of them in the demo that lands on Playstation Network tomorrow.

If the 16th century action provided by Ieyasu Tokugawa’s fist pounding and the might of Mitsunari Ishida’s sword ends up intriguing you, look for the game on store shelves October 12. In addition to the Playstation 3 release, Sengoku Basara: Samurai Heroes will also be available for Wii.

And now, for your viewing pleasure, behold a screenshot of a single man as he takes a bold running charge at the “Drillatron.”
