Based on the “boys’ life” romantic comedy manga by Shou Harusono, the Sasaki and Miyano anime officially has a premiere date. According to the recently revealed Japanese TV schedule, the series will make its debut on TOKYO MX, KBS Kyoto, Sun TV, and TV Aichi on January 9, followed by BS NTV on January 10 and AT-X on January 11.
Shinji Ishihara is directing the anime at Studio DEEN. Here’s a trailer from September:
Yen Press publishes the manga in English and describes it:
It all started like a typical old-school boys’ love plotline—bad-boy senior meets adorably awkward underclassman, one of them falls in love, and so on and so forth. But although Miyano is a self-proclaimed boys’ love expert, he hasn’t quite realized…he’s in one himself. Which means it’s up to Sasaki to make sure their story has a happily ever after…!
