It’s looking to be a very Ranma Fall, as Ranma ½ season 2 now has a premiere month! The second season of the new adaptation bringing Rumiko Takahashi’s classic manga to the screen is officially set for October, and you can see the first full trailer for a look at new cast members and more.
Those new cast members include Toshihiko Seki, who returns in the role of Mousse from the earlier anime adaptation. Other cast members being introduced this season are Kaori Nazuka as Ukyo Kuonji, Kazuhiko Inoue as Happosai, Rin Mizuhara as Cologne and Akira Ishida as Hikaru Gosunkugi.

Konosuke Uda directs, with Kimiko Ueno on scripts and Hiromi Taniguchi adapting character designs for the MAPPA production.

Ranma ½ Plot
Years ago, Genma promised his old friend Soun Tendo that Ranma would marry one of Soun’s three daughters and carry on the family’s martial arts school. Except that the girl picked to be Ranma’s bride doesn’t seem to like him, Ranma keeps getting into fights…and did we mention that whole changing into a girl thing?
