PuraOre! Pride of Orange Drops Two Trailers, One in English

The PuraOre! Pride of Orange anime is the first anime to deal with girls’ hockey, and it will hit Japanese TV on October 6. Ahead of this two trailers have been released. The first one is done to music, and the second trailer has English writing to describe the plot. This is all part of a multimedia project being done by CyberAgent’s CAAnimation label and DMM Games.

Riku Masuda plays Manaka Mizusawa, Satomi Hongo plays Yu Kiyose, Mayu Sagara plays Ayaka Mizusawa, Saika Kitamori plays Riko Saginuma, Asuka Shiori plays Naomi Takagi, Yurika Moriyama plays Kaoruko Yanagida, Yoshino Aoyama plays Mami Ono, Hisako Tōjō plays China Yoneyama, Ruriko Aoki plays Juri Kikuchi, Aina Suzuki plays Shino Ukita, Eriko Matsui plays Runa Hirano, Shizuku Hoshinoya plays Minato Shishiuchi, Kurumi Takase plays Mona Fujishiro, Mikako Komatsu plays Yōko Matsunaga, Yoshiaki Hasegawa plays Sō Satō, Aina Aiba plays Seiko Kuga, Miku Itō plays Yuka Iihara, Ayasa Goto plays Sachie Kaibara, Suzuko Mimori plays Eri Yamanaka, Sora Tokui plays Ema Yoshiike, Eri Ōzeki plays Rio Teruya, and Sumire Uesaka plays Maya Walker.

The anime is being made at C2C, with Takebumi Anzai of Hitori Bocchi no Marumaru Seikatsu working as director. The task of series composition goes to Touko Machida, who previously worked on DIVE!! The anime’s character design has been tasked to Kii Tanaka of So I’m a Spider, So What? These designs will in turn be built upon original designs done by Craft Egg. The music is being composed by both MONACA and Yōhei Kisara.

The opening theme song is called “Fai-o Fight!” and will be performed by actors from the show. The ending theme song is called “Orange” and will be performed by May’n.

CAAnimation and DMM Games are also planning to make a game called PuraOre! Pride of Orange: Smile Princess.
