Hot on the heels of joining the madness of Fortnite and releasing the #5 highest-grossing anime film in U.S. history, Dragon Ball Super is getting ready to hop in with another action-packed crossover. In the meantime, Dragon Ball Super: SUPER HERO may be out of the top spot but it’s still in theaters after pulling in over $30 million in the United States alone. Here’s how Crunchyroll sums up the story:
The Red Ribbon Army was once destroyed by Son Goku. Individuals, who carry on its spirit, have created the ultimate Androids, Gamma 1 and Gamma 2. These two Androids call themselves “Super Heroes”. They start attacking Piccolo and Gohan… What is the New Red Ribbon Army’s objective? In the face of approaching danger, it is time to awaken, Super Hero!
