The last time we saw the Overlord anime—which adapts the light novel series written by Kugane Maruyama and illustrated by so-bin—was when season 3 aired in 2018. Now there’s finally something new on the way thanks to an upcoming live stream that’s set to kick off on May 8 with “the latest information” about the series.
While there aren’t any guaranteed announcements, there will be some special guests in attendance. The three main voice cast members—Satoshi Hino (Ainz), Yumi Hara (Albedo), and Sumire Uesaka (Shalltear Bloodfallen)—will be joining in on the fun when the stream goes live on NicoNico at 8:00pm Japan Time.
