Nukitashi the Animation, based on an adult visual novel from Qruppo, dropped a bleep-filled trailer, info about the cast, and news on the debut month. The original visual novel has the lengthy title Nuki-Gee Mitai na Shima ni Sunderu Hinnyū (Watashi) wa Dō Surya Ii Desuka? (translated as What’s a Flat-Chested Girl Like Me to Do on an Island Straight Out of a Porn Game?) but is also called Nukitashi, because that full title is a lot to say.

The show will start sometime in July, though an exact date hasn’t been revealed yet.
Here are the voice actors joining the anime:
- Masumi Tazawa (Clasia Annerose in The Banished Court Magician Aims to Become the Strongest) plays Tōka Reizeiin
- Nanami Aiba plays Rei Tadasugawa
- Nana Inoue (Minori Izumi in Fantastic Detective Labyrinth) plays Ikuko Onabuta
In the visual novel, Sakura Hanazawa plays Tōka Reizeiin, Nanami Mizuno plays Rei Tadasugawa, and Aria Kurata plays Ikuko Onabuta. So the characters have all been recast, or the actors are using different names because of the 18+ style of the game, or some of both.
Tokyo’s Cinem@rt Shinjuku will offer an advanced screening on June 22.
Nukitashi the Animation is being made at Passione, with Nobuyoshi Nagayama of Vampire Dormitory and Love Flops helming the project as director. Naoto Kurahone and Yu Kamichika, who were scenario writers for the visual novel, will be supervising scripts written by Kenta Ihara of Tsukimichi -Moonlit Fantasy-.
