Nukitashi the Animation Will Have Three Versions With Different Levels of Lewdness

The upcoming anime Nukitashi the Animation, adapted from the ecchi visual novel Nuki-Gee Mitai na Shima ni Sunderu Hinnyū (Watashi) wa Dō Surya Ii Desuka? (translated as What’s a Flat-Chested Girl Like Me to Do on an Island Straight Out of a Porn Game?) will debut in Japan on July 18. There are going to be three different versions of the series.

The fully regulated version will air on multiple Japanese TV stations and will contain considerable censorship.

Next is the streaming-only version of Nukitashi the Animation. This still contains censorship, and there is some restriction on the “lewd elements,” but it shows much more than the first version.

The third and last version is the “Seiran Island” version. This is the most graphic and uncensored version. People who want to watch that one need to check it out on the Japanese station AT-X or buy it on Blu-ray.

Nukitashi the Animation is being made at Passione, with Nobuyoshi Nagayama of Vampire Dormitory and Happy Sugar Life helming the project as director. The person handling series scripts is Kenta Ihara, known for working on Tsukimichi -Moonlit Fantasy- and Uncle From Another World. Naoto Kurahone and Yū Kamichika, who both wrote for the original game, will be supervising the scripts.

You can see its previous, bleep-filled trailer here.

Here is an official description of the original Nukitashi game:

Nukitashi Summary

NUKITASHI, which first launched Qruppo’s explosive popularity in the visual novel scene, follows the story of the anti-copulation resistance fighters of No Love No Sex in their fight to bring down the draconian Pervert Law and its sex-crazed proponents on Seiran Island. Equal parts eccentric, humorous, and action packed, NUKITASHI remains beloved and highly acclaimed among Japanese fans, and took home the prize for Best Scenario—as well as Best New Brand—in 2018’s annual Moe Game Awards.

The game that inspired Nukitashi the Animation is available as an adult game on Johren, and there is an edited version on Steam.
