Nukitashi the Animation shared a bouncy and action-filled trailer that lets us hear clips of both the opening and ending theme songs. The opening theme song is titled “Utopia or Dystopia” and performed by Yuki Yumeno; meanwhile, the ending theme song is called “Saikai-kei Joshi wa Dōsurya Iidesu ka?” (translated as “What Should I do About a Girls’ Reunion?”) and performed by Rie Ayase.
Nukitashi the Animation Trailer
Nukitashi the Animation is based on the ecchi game Nuki-Gee Mitai na Shima ni Sunderu Hinnyū (Watashi) wa Dō Surya Ii Desuka? (translated as What’s a Flat-Chested Girl Like Me to Do on an Island Straight Out of a Porn Game?). Because the title is so long it also gets called Nukitashi instead of saying the whole thing. Hence the name of the anime.
The show is putting out three versions of itself, with different levels of censorship and lewdness. The “Seiran Island” version, which is the most lewd, will be available on Blu-ray and OceanVeil, the streaming platform owned by WWWave Corporation, the company behind the anime. That platform will be additionally offering the “Fully regulated” version, which is the most censored version. It does not appear that the third version, which is in the middle in terms of what it does and doesn’t show, will be streaming at this particular platform.
Here is an official description for the game that Nukitashi the Animation is based on:
Nukitashi Plot
NUKITASHI, which first launched Qruppo’s explosive popularity in the visual novel scene, follows the story of the anti-copulation resistance fighters of No Love No Sex in their fight to bring down the draconian Pervert Law and its sex-crazed proponents on Seiran Island. Equal parts eccentric, humorous, and action packed, NUKITASHI remains beloved and highly acclaimed among Japanese fans, and took home the prize for Best Scenario—as well as Best New Brand—in 2018’s annual Moe Game Awards.
