In addition to the next Dragon Ball Z movie, we can officially look forward to another Naruto flick in the not-too-distant future. This one’s coming at the tail end of this year, with The Last -Naruto the Movie- slated to open in Japan on December 6.
Part of the Naruto Shin Jidai Kaimaku Project that celebrates the 15th anniversary of the original manga, The Last is the first Naruto movie in two years. Creator Masashi Kishimoto is handling the original story, character designs, and is also credited as the chief story supervisor. A standout among those designs is said to be a more toned, short-haired, and adult-like Naruto.
While we wait for the movie to open, a 15-second teaser is set to air during the July 31 broadcast of the Naruto Shippuden TV anime.
