New Manga from Kakegurui’s Homura Kawamoto Stars Joan of Arc, Cleopatra

KawamotoHomura Kawamoto is back. The writer behind gambling manga Kakegurui has created a new manga called Majo Taisen (The War of Greedy Witches) with artist Makoto Shiozuka.

The manga features 32 women from the history books like Joan of Arc, Cleopatra, Tomoe Gozen, Marie Antoinette and more. There’s a twist, natch: the women are “greedy witches” who’re trying to kill each other. Yikes.

The battle kicks off October 24 in the pages of Comic Zenon.

Fans of Kawamoto’s Kakegurui and/or fans of kick-ass women from history have something to look forward to!
