Nadia Anime Plans to Celebrate 30 Years with 2021 Exhibition
Before Hideaki Anno made history with Neon Genesis Evangelion, he was known for the Nadia anime, AKA Nadia: The Secret of Blue Water. His 39-episode directorial debut aired from April 1990 to March 1991, and it will be celebrating its 30th anniversary next year with a special exhibition.
The Nadia anime exhibition will feature production material from the series, including key animation drawings, character reference art, cels, backgrounds, and more. Further information, such as dates and venues, will be announced at a later date.
There’s also a Standard Edition Blu-ray box set on the way to Japan on December 16. Content is the same as the 2011 set, and it will retail for ¥22,000 (about $207).
