After being announced in 2021, we finally got a teaser trailer and key art for Mari Okada’s next film, Alice and Therese’s Illusory Factory, in May of this year. Now we know a little more about the feature ahead of its September 15, 2023 opening, chiefly regarding the artist behind its theme song.
That honor goes to none other than veteran J-Pop singer Miyuki Nakajima, who started her professional career in 1975 and has released 47 singles and 44 original albums since. The film’s theme song, “Shin-on,” will be her first anime theme song, and Okada said it will be used during the film’s ending.
