A new key visual has been revealed for Mamoru Hosoda’s BELLE anime film, which is set to premiere in Japan on July 16. This one has world-famous virtual singer Belle getting up close and personal with a creature called Dragon, featuring the tagline “You’re not alone anymore.”
Pictured above, Dragon was designed by Kegeichi Akiya with strong input from Hosoda. Additional staff members were also revealed for the anime film, including Takaaki Yamashita as the animation director responsible for the virtual world known as U. Hiroyuki Aoyama is animation director and character designer of the real world, and Nobutaka Ike is the film’s art director.
Other staff members include Anri Jojo on art settings and Ryo Horibe and Yohei Shimosawa as CG directors.
