A Devil and Her Love Song is getting a live-action adaptation, thanks to Hulu in Japan. Consisting of eight episodes, it will debut this June. Idol and actress Nana Asakawa has been cast as protagonist Maria Kawai and Hiroki Iijima has been cast as Shin Meguro.
Yokoo Hatsuki has been tapped as director, while Erika Yoshida, Satoko Ogasaki, and Naomi Hiruta will be writing the scripts.
Hulu struck a deal to make live-action series out of manga published by Shueisha’s Margaret magazine, and this is one of the titles selected. A Devil and Her Love Song manga is available in America through VIZ Media.
