If you don’t already own digital copies of a couple classic entries in the Metal Gear Solid series, you’re going to have to wait before you can purchase them again on some of the older platforms. Konami announced that Metal Gear Solid 2 and Metal Gear Solid 3 have both been temporarily removed from digital storefronts on systems such as PS3, PS Vita, Xbox 360, and Nintendo DS as of November 8.
According to the announcement, the delisting was put in place while Konami works on “renewing the licenses for select historical archive footage used in-game.”
Konami isn’t one to turn down money, so they’ll be sure to notify everyone once the games are back up on digital storefronts around the world. Here’s the full list of games that are being removed on a temporary basis:
