Kenji Kamiyama Film Eien no 831 Drops Fresh TrailerEien no 831 (The Eternal 831) is set to premiere on January 30. Now we’ve got a fresh look via a new trailer that previews two of its original songs.

The songs are the opening, “Kingyo Beach” by KanoeRana, and the theme song “Hitohira no Mirai” by angela.

The film, which takes place in a Tokyo in disarray due to “an unprecedented calamity,” is animated at Craftar. It’s helmed by Kenji Kamiyama, the director behind Ghost in the Shell: SAC. He’s also the co-director of recent CG series like Ultraman, Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045 and Blade Runner: Black Lotus.

Eien no 831 was created to celebrate the 30th anniversary of WOWOW, the Japanese satellite television network that’s produced and aired many anime series. The film will star Soma Saito, M.A.O. and Kazuyuki Okitsu.
