Hoshin Engi Manga Gets New Anime Series

Ryu Fujisaki’s Hoshin Engi manga, also known as Soul Hunter, is a Chinese mythology-based manga that originally ran from 1996 to 2000. It was adapted into a 26-episode anime in 1999, and now it’s set to return in a brand new TV anime adaptation.

Early details come from the next issue of Young Jump magazine, which also has some info on the new cast members. Kensho Ono will provide the voice for Taikobo, with Takahiro Sakurai as Supushan, and Tomoaki Maeno as Bunchuu.
