A new anime film was announced for classic children’s book series Anpanman, which was created by Takashi Yanase, and now we have a look at what’s in store thanks to a new trailer. Soreike! Anpanman: Roborii to Pokapoka Present (Go! Anpanman: Roborii and the Warming Present) is set to open in Japan on June 30, so let’s check it out before the curtains part on the big screen.

In Soreike! Anpanman: Roborii to Pokapoka Present, Anpanman and his friends encounter a robot girl named Roborii who lives on Robo Comet and can manufacture anything. They soon set off on a quest to find a “special something” that can’t be made, all while the evil Baikinman attempts to turn Robo Comet into Baikin-Robo Comet.
