Hellboy creator Mike Mignola has been keeping himself busy during lockdown with a bunch of sketches, all with a wide variety of inspiration. Subject matter like Masters of the Universe and Ultraman pushed him firmly outside of his zone of familiarity early on, and he strayed even further thanks to a recent request from his daughter, who wanted him to sketch some Pokémon.
The results are eerily charming, starting with Bulbasaur before moving on to Weezing, Slowbro, Scyther, and many more. He finally closed things out the other day with the most logical choice, so check out all the sketches below.
