The anime film Gyoko no Nikuko-chan (translated as Nikuko of the Fishing Harbor) will hit Japanese theaters on June 11. Ahead of this a music video for it has been released. The song in question is ending theme song “Taketen,” which is performed by GreeeeN. The music video also works as something like a trailer, because you get to see scenes from the movie in it.
The novel it’s based on came out in 2014 and has printed more than 350,000 copies. It’s being directed by Ayumu Watanabe (Children of the Sea) and Satomi Ooshima (Hataraki Man) wrote the screenplay.
