There’s no shortage of pop culture references in Steven Spielberg’s upcoming adaptation of Ernest Cline’s Ready Player One, and a bunch are on display in the latest trailer. Plenty of people have already slowed it down and broken down every second of notable appearances, but you don’t have to squint too hard to spot a cameo from the Mobile Suit Gundam franchise.
Here’s the full trailer, and you can see the RX-78-2 from the original Gundam anime at around the 2:11 mark.

Fans have pointed out that the RX-78-2 is actually doing ZZ Gundam’s pose, but it’s still cool to see Gundam in a major Hollywood production.
