Grendizer U, the upcoming anime based on the popular Go Nagai robot franchise, just revealed its premiere month: look for this series to hit screens in July.
In addition, we’ve got some new cast details and a brand-new promo video for the series. The video previews the opening theme, “Kaishin no Ichigeki” by Glay.
New cast members include:
Shinya Takahashi as Hayashi
Riho Sugiyama as Yamada
Hironori Kondō as Saeki
Sora Tokui as Ōi
Finally, we’ve got our first look at some new robots set to appear.

Grendizer U will feature chief direction from Mitsuo Fukuda (Gundam SEED), character designs by Yoshiyuki Sadamoto (Evangelion) and scripts by Ichirō Ōkōchi (Code Geass). It’ll be animated at Gaina.
