After being teased back in November 2022, the latest Japanese Godzilla film locked in US theatrical plans in July. It opens in the US on December 1, 2023 following its premiere in Japan on November 3, and a new trailer has arrived to show some of Godzilla in post-war Japan and reveal more cast members.
Ryunosuke Kamiki is in the lead as Koichi Shikishima alongside Minami Hamabe as Noriko Oishi. Additional cast members include Yuki Yamada, Munetaka Aoki, Hidetaka Yoshioka, Sakura Andou and Kuranosuke Sasaki. Check out the new trailer below.

Godzilla Minus One director Takashi Yamazaki’s filmography includes a mix of live-action and CG-animated film, from 2002’s Returner and the 2014-2015 Parasyte films to animated projects like Stand by Me Doraemon and Lupin III: The First.
