Tasuku Saitō was a major player at Toei Animation, working as a producer and planner. He produced the anime Gegege no Kitaro, Tiger Mask: Kuroi Majin, Shonen Ninja Kaze no Fujimaru, Tiger Mask Fuku Men League Sen and Hustle Punch. He wrote the lyrics for the opening song of the Tiger Mask anime series, using the nom de plume Nashio Kidani.
Sad news has come out of Japan that Saitō died on February 27. He was 87-years-old and reports say that he died of natural causes.
