Two years ago, the GeGeGe no Kitaro anime adaptation returned for a long-awaited sixth season. Now, as the series gets closer and closer to 100 episodes, it looks like it will end just shy of that milestone this March.
Following up on 2007-2009’s fifth season, the sixth season of the GeGeGe no Kitaro kicked off on April 1, 2018, and just aired its 89th episode on January 19. The series’ 9:00am Sunday slot on Fuji TV will be taken over by the new Digimon Adventure: anime when it premieres in April.
Here’s the previously released visual from the season’s final chapter, the Nurarihyon Arc, which started back in October.
