We recently posted about the impending end of Atsushi Ohkubo’s Fire Force manga, and now we know exactly when to expect the final chapter. In January, the author said he had submitted said chapter, so it was only a matter of time, and it turns out there are just two chapters remaining.

Confirmation comes from this year’s 11th issue of Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine, which revealed that the series will end in the 13th issue. The issue with the final chapter officially hits stands in Japan on February 22.

Crunchyroll streamed the first two seasons of the Fire Force anime adaptation as they aired and describes the series:

Tokyo is burning, and citizens are mysteriously suffering from spontaneous human combustion all throughout the city! Responsible for snuffing out this inferno is the Fire Force, and Shinra is ready to join their fight. Now, as part of Company 8, he’ll use his devil’s footprints to help keep the city from turning to ash! But his past and a burning secret behind the scenes could set everything ablaze.
