Fire Force season 3 previously announced plans to kick off its second cour in January 2026, and now the teasing has begun. A new visual made its way into the world after debuting during the Crunchyroll Spotlight panel at Anime NYC over the weekend.
After taking over duties for the second season, Tatsuma Minamikawa returns to direct for Fire Force season 3. Hideyuki Morioka continues to handle character designs with Sei Tsuguta on scripts and series composition at anime studio David Production (JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure).

Fire Force Plot
Tokyo is burning, and citizens are mysteriously suffering from spontaneous human combustion all throughout the city! Responsible for snuffing out this inferno is the Fire Force, and Shinra is ready to join their fight.
Now, as part of Company 8, he’ll use his devil’s footprints to help keep the city from turning to ash! But his past and a burning secret behind the scenes could set everything ablaze.
