Do As Infinity Perform on Japanese TV for First Time in 10 Years

J-pop band Do As Infinity apparently had not performed on a music show on TV in a decade. But that all changed on June 26, when they, uh, did.

That sent the band, best known to the anime world for songs featured in Inuyasha, Fairy Tail and Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust, to the top of the trending list on Twitter in Japan.

Do As Infinity formed in 1999 and released several albums before breaking up in 2005. They then reformed in 2008. Their music has also been featured in Juni Taisen: Zodiac War, Zoids Genesis and the live-action Uzumaki film.

The band, who are celebrating their 20th anniversary, are set to perform at San Antonio, Texas convention San Japan. It will be their first performance in the U.S. in 15 years.
