Detective Conan: Quarter of Silence Getting Manga Adaptation

Yutaka Abe and Jiro Maruden just finished up their manga adaptation of the Detective Conan: Fist of Blue Sapphire movie (twenty-third in the series!), and they’re on to the next project. It was just announced that they’ll adapt the fifteenth Conan movie, Detective Conan: Quarter of Silence (Meitantei Conan: Chinmoku no Quarter in the original Japanese). The first chapter of the manga will come out in the issue of Shogakukan’s Shonen Sunday S magazine that’s released June 25.

The movie Detective Conan: Quarter of Silence came out ten years ago. Yutaka Abe and Jiro Maruden are known for adapting the movies into manga versions, and considering how many Detective Conan films there are, that’s plenty to keep anyone busy.
