Atsuya Uki’s plate is pretty full with Cencoroll Connect, which follows up the acclaimed 2009 Cencoroll anime short when it hits Japan on June 29. Uki is responsible for writing, directing, and animating the compilation film/sequel, and a new TV special from Aniplex aims to go behind the scenes of the process.
The special will be hosted by Mizuha Kuaroka and includes interviews with Uki and cast and crew members like voice actor Hiro Shimono. It will also show off production materials and other assets when it airs on Tokyo MX, Tochiga TV, Gunma TV, and BS11 on July 7, so hopefully we’ll get a peek ourselves before the film’s debut.
