We’ve got some updated news about the upcoming second season of the Blood Blockade Battlefront anime, which is based on the manga by Yasuhiro Nightow. Blood Blockade Battlefront & Beyond will officially debut in Japan on October 7, and both the opening and ending theme song artists have been revealed.
The opening theme, “fake town baby,” has UNISON SQUARE GARDEN returning to perform. The single version will be released on November 15. Singer-songwriter Yasuyuki Okamura composed, arranged, and produced the ending theme, “Step-Up Love,” which will be performed by DAOKO (Fireworks, Should We See It from the Side or the Bottom?). That single is set to drop on October 18.
