Hiroaki Samura’s Blade of the Immortal manga is getting another go at an anime adaptation, and the official website came through with some fresh details. The series is being produced at LIDEN FILMS, with Hiroshi Hamasaki (Shigurui: Death Frenzy) directing and Makoto Fukami (Latest Berserk anime) overseeing scripts.
Other staff members include Shingo Ogiso (The Heroic Legend of Arslan) on character designs, Tadashi Kudo on art direction, Aiko Shinohara on color designs, singer-songwriter Eiko Ishibashi on music composition, and Yukihiro Masumoto as director of photography.
Voice talent revealed so far includes Kenjiro Tsuda (Hannes in Attack on Titan) as Manji and Ayane Sakura (Ochaco Uraraka in My Hero Academia) as Rin Asano. Here’s a look at their respective designs:
