Anime on the Way for This Hero is Invincible but “Too Cautious” Novels

Another fantasy light novel series officially has a TV anime on the way. This time the subject is Light Tuchihi’s This Hero is Invincible but “Too Cautious”, which will be animated by WHITE FOX, the studio behind Goblin Slayer, Re:ZERO, and more.

The novel series—which features illustrations by The Legend of the Legendary Heroes‘ Saori Toyota—is up to five volumes so far, the latest of which hits stores in Japan on November 10. In the story, spoiled rookie goddess Ristarte is in charge of the salvation of a ‘super hard mode world.’ Success seems within reach when she summons super-powerful hero Seiya Ryuguin… but he’s also incredibly cautious. We’re talking the type of hero who buys spare armor and keeps a massive stock of items on hand just in case. He even uses his full power on low-level slimes, because you can never be too careful.
