Animator Shingo Tamagawa Releases Incredible Short Film Puparia

Animator Shingo Tamagawa Releases Incredible Short Film PupariaIf you’re looking to feast your eyes on some incredible animation today, look no further than Puparia, the new short by Shingo Tamagawa.

Tamagawa, an animator who’s worked on shows like Mobile Suit Gundam Thunderbolt and Valvrave the Liberator (and an alumnus of the animator dorm) has apparently been working on this independent production for years.

Set to “Mallet Quartet:1 Fast” by Steve Reich, Puparia is a surreal, dreamlike journey that reminds of us works like Children of the Sea and Angel’s Egg.

Tamagawa is set to participate in the New Anime Making System Project 2020, which aims to pay animators their fare share. You can read more about that project here.
