One-Punch Man Joins Shonen Jump Alpha Library

Viz Media’s Shonen Jump Alpha is getting ready to zoom into publishing its chapters simultaneous with Japan on January 21, so what better time to introduce a new series into the mix? Viz announced the manga today, and it’s none other than One-Punch Man, the hero of which has a power you might just be able to guess.

One-Punch Man is written by ONE (Heroes of Fury, Mob Psycho 100) and illustrated by Eyeshield 21‘s Yūsuke Murata. The series centers on Saitama, an otherwise average Joe, if you don’t take his insane ability to knock out foes with a single punch into account.

The fun kicks off in next week’s issue of Shonen Jump Alpha.
