Netflix Prepares to Launch in Japan

Netflix is making the leap into Asia next month, with a Japanese launch set for September 2. The streaming service will feature its originals like Daredevil and Marco Polo, as well as the Knights of Sidonia anime, among other programs.

The global expansion of Netflix includes plans to launch in 200 countries by the end of 2016. After Japan—which now has related Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube accounts—Netflix will launch in Italy, Spain, and Portugal in October.
