Yoshiyuki Sadamoto’s Evangelion manga finally ended earlier this year, and the 14th and final volume hit bookstores in Japan just a few days ago. So why not celebrate with some Eva-themed sneakers?
We’ve already talked about stuff like those amazing Jojo’s sneakers, and the Eva clothing line, so on some level this latest collaboration with otaku fashion brand SuperGroupies was inevitable.
The canvas sneakers feature red laces on top of a design featuring famous scenes from the manga. Kaworu is right there in the most prominent parts of the design, an easily-read signal to fujoshi everywhere to get their wallets out.
If you happen to be interested in getting yourself a pair, SuperGroupies is selling them from their online store as well as from the Evangelion Store in Ikebukuro for a cool 10,584 yen, which comes out to about $90 with the current insane exchange rates.
