Blacksmith Forges Real Final Fantasy VII Sword

Man at Arms is a cool little web series that has swordsmith Tony Swatton forging real versions of weapons from games, cartoons, and more. Swatton and his crew have tackled weapons ranging from Finn’s Golden Sword from Adventure Time to Sora’s Keyblade from Kingdom Hearts, and now they’re back with an iconic cutter from Final Fantasy VII.

Cloud’s Buster Sword is notorious for being about as big as he is, and it really shows when the behemoth is brought into the real world as a 70-plus-pound sword. Watch as the colossal blade is forged below.
