GLAY is a major Japanese rock band, and 2024 marks a major milestone for them: 30 years since their major debut in 1994. As a result, GLAY is offering its GLAY EXPO this year. A big event like this needs a visual image to go with it, so GLAY went with a major manga talent: none other than One Piece’s Eiichiro Oda, creator of the bestselling manga series of all time.

Oda might be busy finishing up One Piece and being involved with Netflix’s adaptation, but he shows he still makes time for a few other side products like this. Even presidents have been known to be excited to get art from Oda.
GLAY has been involved with theme song performances for a few different anime, including Ace of Diamond, Grendizer U, Kuromukuro and more.
VIZ Media publishes Oda’s One Piece manga and gave this description for the first volume:
