The latest update is here to reveal the premiere date along with a new key visual, cast member and trailer, the latter of which previews Neriame’s opening theme song, “Unmei Kyodotai!”

The series is set to premiere in Japan on April 7 at 25:25 (so basically April 8 at 1:25am Japan Time), and the ending theme will be Miki Sato’s “Dramatic.” Check out the new trailer and visual below.

Another cast member was revealed too, this time with Kazue Ikura (Kaori in City Hunter) voicing Hayato’s grandmother Sachiko Kasukabe:

Satoshi Kuwabara (The Quintessential Quintuplets) is directing, with Keiichiro Ocho (The Demon Girl Next DoorThe Quintessential Quintuplets) on scripts, Masatsune Noguchi (My Home Hero) handling character designs and Miki Sakurai (My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom! The Quintessential Quintuplets) composing music for the Tezuka Productions anime.

Kouji Seo’s The Café Terrace and Its Goddesses manga currently runs in the pages of Weekly Shonen Magazine. Kodansha USA publishes the series in English and sums up the story below:

When Hayato’s grandmother passed, he planned to sell her rundown café on the shore—not realizing that it was also home to five young women who call themselves her family?! Their desperation to keep the café open convinces Hayato to give it a shot…but even their best intentions might not be enough to make it work! And can he even work with these five unruly women? No matter what, he’s got his work cut out for him! A fun new romcom by the author of Fuuka and Suzuka!
