The light novel series Isekai One Turn Kill Nee-san: Ane Dо̄han no Isekai Seikatsu Hajimemashita (translated as One Turn Kill Sister in Another World: I Started Living in Another World with My Older Sister) is receiving an anime adaptation with a slightly different and shorter title: My One-Hit Kill Sister. It was just revealed that the anime will be debuting on April 8 and the ending theme song will be called “Mukyū Platonic” (translated as “Forever Platonic”) and performed by VALIS.
It had previously been revealed that the opening theme song is titled “Karei One Turn” (translated as “Splendid One Turn”) and performed by TrySail.
The light novels have not been licensed in English. When the anime comes out, Crunchyroll will stream it simultaneously.
My One-Hit Kill Sister is an isekai story about teenager Asahi Ikusaba, who knows all about fantasy worlds and video games and ends up in another world. It turns out his sister, who has a brother complex, is also in this other world.
Looking toward the cast, Yuki Sakakihara plays Asahi Ikusaba, Haruka Shiraishi plays Maya Ikusaba, Ami Koshimizu plays Kilmaria, Rio Tsuchiya plays Tanya, Azumi Waki plays Sophie, Sora Tokui plays Gloria, Konomi Kohara plays Kuon, and Yūma Uchida plays Siegfried.
The anime is being made at Gekkō, with Hiroaki Takagi helming the project as the director. Takagi has previously worked as an episode director for The Great Jahy Will Not Be Defeated! The person in charge of series scripts is Yōhei Kashii of Battle Athletes Victory ReSTART!
The novels originally began coming out on the website Shōsetsuka ni Narō (translated as Let’s Be Novelists) in late 2019. Sometime later, original author Konoe and artist Kenji Taguchi of Ane Log teamed up to create a manga adaptation that’s been published by the site Sunday Webry as well as Sunday GX magazine.
